Inspired by the New York Times story recognizing that vegans are glam, too, I thought about all of the fabulously glam vegan happenings around the globe, from restaurant openings to cruelty-free shopping destinations. Here is the W+A take on all the vegan glam that’s worth the trip.
East Coast

New York’s vegan outerwear headquarters had made the move from Williamsburg to the Lower East Side. The cruelty-free clothing shop for glam vegans has also opened a pop-up in Los Angeles’ Venice neighborhood at from now through October 31, 2015.

Chloe Coscarelli, of the famous cupcakes and cookbooks, has opened the her first vegan eatery in Manhattan. Already packed during lunch and dinner, it’s New York’s hippest plant-based destination.

LA vegan Chef Matthew Kenney is expanding his Venice-based Plant Food and Wine restaurant to Miami’s Wynwood district by the end of 2015. If it’s anything like the LA location, raw and beautiful menu items will abound, accompanied by a perfectly curated vegan-friendly wine list.

Brooklyn’s finest men’s shop sells the best in runway-inspired and sustainable everyday menswear. The difference is that all of the gorgeous leathers, silks and wools are animal-free.
